2026 Fishing Derby

APPA sponsored a fishing derby for kids on August 22 on the island. KIds from ages 3 to 12 participated! Trophies were handed out to 1st, 2nd and third place in two divisions - age 2-6 and 7-12 as well as for largest (17” bass!) fish. Winners in the 2-6 age group were Enzo Marazzi, 4, First Place; Emily Klipfel, 7, Second Place and AJ Pare, 3, Third Place. Winners in the 7-12 Group were Will Burke, 11, First Place, William Pare, 11, Second Place and Joey Feole, 8, Third Place. Largest Fish winner was Will Burke. Prizes were also distributed. A fun day for the kids and their parents, too!
